|About Common Bonds|
Common Bonds is a volunteer organization focused on providing support to families faced with the challenges that accompany a birth crisis. The program was founded in 1991 by a group of parents who had all gone through a birth crisis themselves and experienced the great need for support first hand. Since that time, Common Bonds has been reaching out to families, offering them emotional support and helping them find the information and resources they need to assist them through challenging times in their lives.
The idea of parents helping other parents is at the core of the Common Bonds program. Through establishing a network of caring volunteers, Common Bonds helps provide parents with one-to-one and group support. Though it is difficult to describe the emotions parents feel during a birth crisis, the need for each family to receive support and information is undeniable. Common Bonds is truly dedicated to helping families celebrate the birth of the child, regardless of the circumstances.
